Has Anyone Had a TCA Facial Peel and What Were the Results? Did It Work for Acne Scars?

I don’t have current acnet, I have scars from the past.

    There are varying strengths of TCA peels, and varying types of acne scars. Without knowing what strength you are talking about, or the depth and type of your scarring, suffice it to say that a deeper TCA peel will help to some degree for scalloped type scarring but not for the ice-pick or box=car type.

    I’ve had 3 TCA peels in the last two years (First at 25% then 30% and the last one at 50%) and they made my scars less visible, but not entirely gone. In my opinion you need to attack the scars in several ways. In my forehead where I had a long deep scar, I removed it by having having a permanent filler injected into it. In the rest of the face, the one thing that has help my with my ice-picks is the use of a derma-roller. I’m a lot happier now with the condition of my skin but it’s never gonna be perfect.
