Housewife Confessional #12 – Pre and Post Facial

Before and after my facial today. What I bring in my bag, and post-facial analysis ramble in the car. The oil based moisturizer my aesthetician mentioned: sephora.com From what I can gather on the interwebs LED Light therapy has shown to have many benefits, including increased collagen production: www.lightstim.com www.prolightaesthetics.com

@WildDoveX As you’re lying there in the treatment room, it’s not always easy to remember or get the facts – but from what I can gather from my google-based research, the LED light therapy has been shown to increase collagen production – I’ll put a link to one of the sites I found. Although most of them say it requires daily application.

hi! what dry shampoo brand did you get? I have dark hair and I got the suave one (and believe it or not i kinda like it) but I can’t stand the grey look if I put a lot on. thanks :) hope you had a good time at the spa! I can’t remember the last time I went to the spa, and I’ve never had a facial at the spa lol. I think I need to talk my hubby into that :)

@efutch7 The one that works is the Ojon – I took back the Oscar Blandi … I talk about them both in my last confessional :) I actually went in looking for the Suave but forgot!

I like your earrings. Very cute! And I love the bag.

I should start packing a makeup bag for every day. I tend to just put my makeup on in the morning and leaving it at home.

I’ve never had a facial. I’m kind of scared to have one actually. Glad to hear the Clarisonic Mia is fine. I have been dealing with major breakout around my chin area. I would like to see a dermatologist that is non judgmental lol. My problem is that I would follow what they say no matter what.

Never had a facial but am interesting in trying one. Hopefully, it’s not too late. LOL I wanted to let you know that there is a dupe for one of the Skinceuticals products you use. Deb at debbick1 has done extensive research and here’s a link to one of her videos that compares ingredients only. She does talk at length in some of her other videos also. I think maybe some her skincare ones and I think she has a dupe one too. Anyway, the dupe is about $40.00 and she likes it a lot.

You tube is not letting me post the link so here’s the name of her video. Skinceuticals CE Ferulic versus Cosmetic Skin Solutions CE Ferulic Ingredients Comparison by debbick1.

@pmb5005 Thank you so much! it’s annoying how you can’t link videos in the comments. That’s like less than half price!!! It’s never too late to have a facial – even if it’s just for how awesome they make you feel!

@efutch7 My stylist just told me that B&B has one for brunettes – I just ordered it – although it’s kind of pricey. Will let you know how it goes!
