@33divastyle Hello , I was wondering, was the frosting in your prior videos due to The Jessner’s TCA Chemical Peel or the 20% Salicylic Acid. I have bought some 20% Salicylic Acid and it should be here by tomorrow. One more question is should i apply it on a weekend for healing or what do you say? Thank you so much :]

The frosting will occur with any peel thats how you know that it is working. Just make sure if it’s your first one you don’t leave it on for longer than 60 minutes. It may not seem like long but it is. Yes I would do the peel on Saturday so that by next saturday you are done peeling. Use coconut oil it’s real good or aloe vera for comfort. Remember what I said in my video go as close to your lips as possible for even tone.

It will be uncomfortable as it tightens but try not to loosen it by moving your mouth , this will help more than you can imagine. Be patient and let it peel and come off, don’t help it out. Trust you will look horrible..lol but the results are worth it. Good Luck and post a video.

People who suffer from acne should not use soap.

Great results, but why take the risk of using it during pregnancy? Just wondering

How does your skin look now? I am darker than you and am scared of how it will look?

@wugirl7997 My Skin looks really good….I have three dark spots that I created just recently. Before that my skin was completely clear. Be careful to time it to the minute though you don’t want to burn the skin. I would suggest if you are doing jessners which is the two different acids leave the first acid in place for 60 seconds and apply the second acid and leave for 30-45 seconds only. Good Luck and I’ll be happy to answer any questions.

Because you are darker, I would say it will turn out better. I bruise easily and my skin it light so any imperfection shows up which in my opinion is not good. You will more than likely get a more even skin tone than I did because of that.

@llprincess1978 Before I did the peel I asked my OB doctor if it was ok. I told him the chemicals involved and he assured me there was no danger. Sorry for the late response.

I really enjoyed the videos.. I think it’ll help clear up a lot of peoples myths about peels, I’ll refer my clients here definitely. One thing about the Jessner, especially if u are prone to dark spots, you want to find one that does NOT have the Resorcinol because it can actually cause an opposite affect(in ethnic skin), making u darker…they have formulas that do not have the resorcinol…I really wouldn’t suggest doing it yourself to anyone though..it’s really intense..

and also, I mentioned on the other video, COCONUT OIL is pore clogging..one of the most pore clogging oils…if you have acne, oily skin,or are acne prone, do not use the coconut oil because it’s gonna worsen the situation…It worked for her,but we’re not her..take ur skin TYPES and CONDITIONS into consideration..

the last suggestion I’d make is, remember that she is dealing with chemicals compounded by a certain company a certain way…so unless you’re using the EXACT same one, you don’t know whether the application/removal/expectations are the same. Is it self neutralizing? modified? raw? is the PH the same? Is the percentage the same? those are some fundamentals..

and in no way am I saying that she’s wrong about anything she said or did,I’m just making suggestions to others because once you mess your skin up beyond a certain point, it’s permanent…not ALL discoloration is fixable and if u damage yourself with a chemical peel, you’re probably ruined…for a while. Glad it worked out well and I’m ready for u to upload more videos if you’re still doing treatments! :-D

@MarktaviousMusic ..You are right in giving this advice. What is the perfect application and process for me can be wrong for someone else…I did a lot of research as I always do when I take on something new. It takes research before doing. Yes I am a Licensed Cosmetologist (17 years) as well as a Registered massage Therapist (7 years). Lot’s of experiece in the personal care industry.

@33divastyle Beautiful. Yeah you know a lot of people don’t do the research, just the chemical application..but if they don’t know any better we can’t blame them…Im an Esthetician…I want to go into medical esthetics while I finish college, med school, then specialize cosmetic dermatology focusing on ethnic skin…but working for a dermatologist will definitely make that time go by faster…I’ll subscribe and stay updated :-D
